Level 35 to 50: what to do when Victoria runs thin
A plan by band for the stretch where players run out of things to do: which chains still pay, where to train, and what to bank for Forgotten Hollow.
Every number and name on this page is read live from the game data.
Written 7 November 2026. Forgotten Hollow is expected to change this page. Nexon has written only "November". Recheck after the 18 November maintenance.
Stop treating this stretch as a race to the next level. Past 35 the game pays you in items, scrolls and mesos, not in quest EXP. Clear the chains that pay, train where you hit reliably, and bank a short list of items.
Why it feels empty
Players report running out of things to do in the 40s. The numbers explain it:
- The climb. Level 35 to 50 takes about 5.7M EXP. Levels 1 to 35 take about 1.2M. That is close to five times more, on the EXP table our tools use, which is not confirmed for Classic World.
- Mobs pay less. EXP per 100 HP is 12.5 on a at level 20, 7.1 on a at 32, then sits near 5 from about 37 on. It stays there for 30 levels.
- Quests stop carrying you. Leaving out citizenship and job quests, quests cover about 10% of the EXP from 30 to 40, and about 4% from 40 to 50, by our sum.
So a level 45 who has done every quest has not missed anything. This is the shape of the game today.
Set up before you start
Pick maps by hits, not by mob level. Players report that killing in one or two hits saves MP, potions and time. Train where you do that, not at the highest mob you can reach. Time 10 minutes on a map, compare your EXP bar, then move. For a first list to time, what can I kill shows the mobs your character can kill quickly, as estimates. Open a mob to see its maps, or rank training maps for your build.
Know your accuracy. This table is estimated: a community model that nobody has tested in Classic World. Mob avoid is client data. The figures assume the mob is at your level. Each level it sits above you adds about 4%, and under about twice its avoid you likely cannot hit at all.
| Mob | Lv | Avoid | ACC for 100% | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 34 | 25 | 82 | Fire and holy weak | |
| 38 | 24 | 79 | Lightning weak | |
| 37 | 27 | 89 | Has a magic attack | |
| 41 | 29 | 95 | Holy weak, drops Cursed Dolls | |
| 45 | 28 | 92 | Ice weak, fire resist | |
| 46 | 25 | 82 | The easiest hit above level 44 | |
| 48 | 32 | 104 | Holy weak | |
| 52 | 31 | 101 | Fire weak, ice resist | |
| 55 | 33 | 108 | Holy weak, fire and ice resist |
Short of accuracy? gives up to +20, +20 with swords only, up to +25, up to +15. A adds +7 for 15 minutes, 600 mesos at . Which citizenship grade sells it is reported only. Whether spells can miss is not settled. Either way DEX does nothing for a mage. Use the accuracy tool for your own numbers.
Mages: read the spawn share. Among monsters of level 40 to 49, 60% of spawns are holy weak, 22% fire weak, 8% lightning weak and 5% ice weak. Mob level is what counts here, not yours. The marks are client data. The size of the bonus is not: about +25% by estimate, untested. Use it to choose between two good maps, not to cross the island. M.DEF matters too: use the numbers in elements.
Level 35 to 39: finish the cheap chains
This band has the best quests left in the game. Do them before you farm anything.
| Chain | From level | Pays | Asks |
|---|---|---|---|
| to | 32 | 49,140 EXP, 8,593 mesos, 40 Blue Potions, or | 50 kills, 30 , 50 , 10 , 1 |
| to | 34 | 25,586 EXP, 7,031 mesos, 5 fame | Mostly talking, then 100 and a Stumpy field boss kill |
| to | 35 | 20,160 EXP, 12,222 mesos, 6 fame, 30 Blue Potions, 30 , 23 return scrolls | Three jump quests |
| to | 37 | 29,240 EXP, 15,210 mesos, 2 fame, 105 Blue Potions | 65 (no listed source), 55 , 100 , 70 from level 49 |
| Citizenship arc | 37 | 32,164 EXP, 1 fame | See citizenship |
Do the Secret Book first. is a prerequisite for both Rowen's dolls and Ronnie's house, so skipping it locks out your next two chains. Step 7 needs 1 . Arcforging rank 6 makes one from , which lists as a drop, or buy one from a player. Step 4 also wants 10 , listed only from low-level and , so fetch those in one trip. Sort both out before you start. The chain starts with and runs through . The robe it ends on is a Lv. 30 overall for any class, with 10 slots and +1 to all stats.
Shumi is the money chain. The last step alone pays 10,000 mesos and 30 Mana Elixirs, which helps any class short on MP. It takes jumping skill, not levels, so it is a good answer to a bad training day.
The Old Tree is free for six steps. They pay 17,712 EXP and 4,867 mesos for talking. Step 7 needs 100 . The quest log ties them to , but our tables list no source, so ask in chat before you plan on it. Only after that does open, with the kill. Stumpy is a level 35 field boss with 19,220 HP, 477 W.ATK and 524 M.ATK, so bring a party. See bosses. The final scroll, , can destroy the item, so keep it off gloves you care about. It sold well between players in early November, so sell it unless you have spare gloves.
Florina stalls twice. Every step needs Coconuts, and our tables list no source. The quest log says they are on the beach, to the right of . No walking route reaches the beach, and a trip through Pason in Lith Harbor is reported, not confirmed, so ask in chat first. With those, steps 1 and 2 pay 14,620 EXP on and from level 37. Steps 3 and 4 need 70 Clang Claws from level 49 , so finish them at in the 45 to 49 band. Keep your claws rather than selling them.
Where to train, 35 to 39
Numbers are spawn points, not monsters alive at once. Nexon changed spawns on 30 October and gave no details, so busy maps may feel different.
Level 40 to 44: dolls and the house
| Chain | From level | Pays | Asks |
|---|---|---|---|
| to | 36 | 35,100 EXP, 5,700 mesos, 9 fame | 570 and 570 kills |
| to | 41 | 34,680 EXP, 5,204 mesos, 90 Blue Potions | Kills across eight mobs, 1 Diamond |
| to | 42 | 33,522 EXP, 4,921 mesos, 50 Blue Potions | Costly materials, see below |
Rowen's dolls are the band's backbone. Stop after step 4 unless you want the helm or the 3 fame. Step 5 pays the same 7,020 EXP for four times the dolls of step 1. Zombie Lupin sits at level 41, so this chain belongs here despite its level 36 tag.
- Steps 1 to 4 ask for 370 dolls and pay 28,080 EXP, 6 fame and a gloves scroll. The scroll has an even split between and . If you get the wrong one, sell it.
- Step 5 asks for 200 more and pays 7,020 EXP and 3 fame. Its rewards include a level 40 helm for your class: , , or .
- Steps 1 to 3 also pay ores, on even rolls. has an even split between 5 Gold Ore and 5 , and Arcforging turns Diamond Ore into the Diamonds this page asks for.
- The doll drop rate is unknown. If you stop, keep 30 for the Hollow, plus 200 if you may want step 5, and sell the rest. See the bank list.
Ronnie's house is the potion chain. The kill list sends you all over the island, so do it as you pass through rather than as a route: and , and , and , and . The last two steps are really a 45+ job. The final scroll is an even split between and .
Check prices before Pia's chain. It wants 15 , 30 , 30 , 30 , an and a . You need done before the chain starts. The Ancient Scroll is listed only from a level 58 mob. Arcforging can make the Black Crystal. Otherwise, reference data, unconfirmed, lists it only from . Report a drop if you see it. The prize is one of four Greater cape scrolls, 25% each, at 10% success. Worth it for the EXP if you can buy the parts, so check the market.
Where to train, 40 to 44
Level 45 to 49: scrolls and collections
| Chain | From level | Pays | Asks |
|---|---|---|---|
| to | 44 | 29,820 EXP, 4,167 mesos, 10 Elixirs, 15 Power Elixirs, a gloves scroll | Boss item and high kills, see below |
| to | 46 | 29,160 EXP, 3,906 mesos, an Icarus cape | 50 Medicine, 20 (we can show no source). Take the first delivery, and do not stack for the rest until you know where the leaf comes from |
| and | 47 | 22,800 EXP, 2,954 mesos, | Parts from four mobs, one of them , listed only around Florina Beach, so buy those 30 from players. Then 100 golem rubble and 1 Diamond |
| 48 | 11,800 EXP, Greater attack scroll rows for your class, 2 fame | 100 (listed only from level 56 ), 30 , 30 , 1 (no drop we can show, so buy it from a player) | |
| and | 48 | 23,600 EXP, Greater attack scroll rows for your class, cape scroll rows | 100 , 40 , 120 |
| Citizenship arc | 47 | 57,000 EXP in Henesys, 50,160 in Kerning City | See citizenship |
Low-level quests guard these rewards. needs , a level 11 quest. needs , which traces back to and . needs the Icarus chain from to , and needs , and , which has earlier steps of its own. If you skipped the level 10 and 11 quests, go back: they take minutes at your level. The Icarus and Maya collections take longer, so check your quest log before you plan on these rows.
Find the deed before you farm rubble. also needs . The quest log says near stole it, but our tables list no drop for it, so buy it from a player. Stores list it.
The class scrolls are Greater, so 10% success. These rows are marked differently from the random ones, and no player has reported what they pay. You may choose, or the payout may differ. Selling one may beat using it: check the market.
Jane's level 44 tag is misleading. wants 50 kills, 3 with no drop row, and a . Reference data, unconfirmed, lists that only from . Report a drop if you see it. wants a , also with no drop row. Stores list all three, so buy what you cannot farm from players. Treat this as a level 50 project and take now. The final scroll is one of four at 25% each: Gloves Attack or Magic Attack, Intermediate or Greater. You also need done, a level 20 quest.
Skip for now. Its item reward is a warrior helm, it asks for a lot, and we can show no source for the it needs, so do not stack for it until you know where that comes from.
Where to train, 45 to 49
At 50, is worth a look: 18 Drake points. Drakes resist fire and ice, so it is a physical map. Gladius and open at 50. See key quests.

Money and risk
Good EXP can barely pay for itself. Late-October logs from a few players show earning only slightly more mesos than it burned in potions. That was before the 30 October spawn change, so read it as direction only. If your mesos are falling, drop down a map before you blame your gear.
Sell the equip scrolls you will not use. Keep the bank list items and what your open quests ask for, and sell other Etc. One report so far says quest scrolls pay for potions at this level.
Death hurts more now. A community rule of thumb says up to about 10% of the EXP your level needs. Nexon has published no figure. prevents the loss. The Journey Begins gives 3 free ones on Day 2 and 3 more on Day 10 until 18 November. Each batch lasts 7 days, so they will not overlap, and Day 10 needs a start by 9 November.
Gear. Shops stop around level 25 to 27. From here gear means crafting, drops or other players. See crafting. Level 55+ gear drops are unconfirmed. Only quest gloves and earrings have a sure source.
Crowds. Change channel before you change map. Windia had 40 channels at launch. A party bonus exists, but no figures are confirmed, so party up because it is more fun and safer, not for a number. One report so far says there is no party finder and points to town chat or Discord.
Common mistakes
- Skipping the Secret Book and wondering why Rowen will not talk to you.
- Selling your last 30 Cursed Dolls before the Hollow.
- Going to Wraiths at 44 with 85 ACC, well short by our estimate.
- Waiting on a boss to finish a chain. Timers are long and the maps are contested, so do the rest first.
- Chasing EXP-per-HP lists at . Its 500 W.DEF makes it a bad physical target.
- Reading Orbis or El Nath routes. Neither is in the game. See what is in the game.
When Forgotten Hollow opens
Forgotten Hollow may reshape this band. It is reported for 18 November, and Nexon has written only "November". Reported monsters run about level 39 to 59, and its quests in the client start at 45. They pay 133,900 EXP from to , and needs an earlier quest we cannot see. Do not stop levelling to wait for it. Everything above still pays.
