Fighter guide
Rage, the only multi-target Final Attack and fast 2H weapons. SP order, axe or sword, a weapon plan that works without level 30 shops, and what is known to 70.
Every number and name on this page is read live from the game data.
Pick Fighter if you want to fight groups, like fast weapons and want a party buff. It is the only branch whose Final Attack hits more than one target. The price is real: Rage costs W.DEF, and Fighter is modelled as the least tough of the three warriors.
An older community model also ranks Fighter first for damage and for damage per MP. It predates the 29 Oct patch and nobody has tested it, so read it as a lean, not a result. To compare branches, start at Warrior build.
As of November 2026, Classic World stops at level 100 and has no 3rd job, so plan on this job for a long time. By reference data, not confirmed in Classic World, you get 1 SP at advancement and 3 per level: 121 by 70, 211 by 100. A full main line costs 120, and all eight 2nd-job skills cost 190.
Getting the job
At level 30, see , then the on , who sends you to a hidden test map. Collect 30 inside, return and choose. Treat the choice as permanent. Steps are in Job advancement.
Spend all your 1st-job SP first. It is reported, not confirmed, that 2nd-job SP cannot go back.
Axe or sword
This is really a question of whether you buy from players.
Take the 2H axe by default. It has crafted steps at 35, 40 and 50, and at River holds you until then. Swords have nothing crafted after the bat. The one quest step is , a one-handed sword from at 50: 62 W.ATK, stage 4. Its chain needs a , which no mob we can show drops, so buy it from a player. By estimate an axe's average multiplier is slightly above a sword's, but Weapon Attack swings it back and forth level by level, so the gap is too small to choose on.
Take the sword if you keep missing and can afford trades. Sword Mastery's +20 Accuracy is worth about 42 DEX on a warrior, by our estimate. It gains only a level or two on , because Mastery is still low at 33. Near 20 it moves from about 44 to about 38, and from about 50 to about 45, by the same estimate. Axe Mastery has no Accuracy. It adds damage range and a bleed: 25% chance at rank 20, 3 s.
Axes and swords share attack speed, stage 5 for most and 6 for some.
| Level | 2H axe (W.ATK, stage) | Source | 2H sword (W.ATK, stage) | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25 | 45, 5 | River 16,500 | 45, 5 | River 16,500 |
| 30 | 50, 5 | None in our tables | 53, 6 | None in our tables |
| 30 | 50, 5 | Rank 6, . No DEX need | ||
| 35 | 55, 5 | Rank 7, , | 55, 5 | |
| 40 | 60, 5 | Rank 8, | 60, 5 | None in our tables |
| 50 | 73, 6 | Rank 10, | 73, 6 | None in our tables |
| 60 | 80, 5 | None in our tables | 83, 6 | None in our tables |
| 70 | 93, 6 | 93, 6 | , reference data |
Ranks are Weaponcrafting. Every drop here is reported and none is counted, so do not treat them as farmable. drops are reference data, not confirmed in Classic World. If you see one, report it. Crafted usually means someone else made one you can buy. See the market.
1H or 2H. Two-handers come out ahead in the model, but a 1H weapon with a shield is a real safety trade, and 1H swords and axes reach stage 4. Most Fighters should stay two-handed. If you do go 1H, use the same Mastery: it covers one and two-handed of its type.
SP order
On a sword, swap in , and . Do not split two weapon lines before your main line is done at 70.
Booster is the point most older orders get wrong. Its -2 speed stages come at rank 1. Ranks 2 to 20 only make it last longer and cost less, so one point at 33 is far better than none until 57.
Rage or Mastery first is a judgement call. Rage to 30 by 43 and Mastery 20 by 48 also works if you party. We lead with Mastery because it works every swing and costs no W.DEF.
After 70: a second weapon line, 70 SP, is the only known use, finishing at level 93. If 2nd-job SP cannot go back to 1st-job skills, 21 SP stay unspent at 100. Nobody has written up level 71 to 100 yet.
Rage, and why you bought Iron Body
at rank 30 gives +40 Attack Power and -40 W.DEF to everyone it touches. It works for physical attack only.
at rank 1 roughly pays that back from 35 on. Armor at level 30 totals about 178 W.DEF, or 206 with at 35, so +20% is about 36 to 41. Level 50 gear is about 254, so about 51. Rage only reaches -40 near level 48 on the order above. That assumes the percentage applies to your gear W.DEF and that the two work together, which is untested. It costs 15 MP for 300 s.
Warn your party before you cast Rage on a boss. They take the W.DEF cut too.
Final Attack
The client text is plain: using attack skills has a 25% chance to enable the skill for 60 s, and while enabled it can be used. That reads as press to use. Confirm it in game.
At rank 30 it hits up to 3 enemies for 200%, for 18 MP and 20 HP. It is the only warrior Final Attack that costs HP. The arithmetic on skill percent, before anything else:
| Targets | Final Attack, 18 MP | Slash Blast rank 19, 13 MP | Power Strike, 12 MP |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 200% | 124% | 260% |
| 2 | 400% | 248% | 260% |
| 3 | 600% | 372% | 260% |
| 4 | 600% | 496% | 260% |
| 6 | 600% | 744% | 260% |
So do not press it on one target. It is weaker and dearer than Power Strike there, and by the model it adds nothing on a boss. Use it on 2 to 4 mobs. On 5 or more, keep Slash Blast going. Skip it too if the first hit already kills.
Stats
| Level | STR | DEX |
|---|---|---|
| 30 | 135 | 27 |
| 50 | 209 | 53 |
| 70 | 302 | 60 |
| 100 | 452 | 60 |
3 STR and 2 DEX per level at 31 to 36, 4 and 1 at 37 to 57, then all STR. A 2H weapon needs DEX equal to its level, a 1H about level minus 5. Whether gear DEX counts is not confirmed, and base 60 falls 10 short of a level 70 two-hander. INT and LUK stay at 4.
Armor
The same armor serves all three branches. Warrior build has it by level with sources, including quest gear. At 35 use , or on a female character. They are the same armor. From 50, coat and pants: and , then and at 70, which have no source in our tables yet.
Where to train
On paper Fighter gains most where several mobs stand close together, because Final Attack hits 3. Nobody has measured it, and ranged players on a shared map cut into that. The full route is in Warrior leveling.
Common mistakes
- Going to Line 2 at 30. You hit about half the time, by our estimate.
- Expecting to buy a level 30 axe.
- Leaving SP unspent at 30 to fix later.
- Leaving Booster at 0 until the end of the line.
- Pressing Final Attack on single targets.
- Reading old claims that axes level fastest. Bleed kills paid double EXP and drops until Nexon fixed it on 15 Oct, so early impressions may be inflated. That last step is our inference.
