What is in the game, and what ends when
A dated scope page for 7 November 2026: every deadline from official notices, the Mark of the Beta route from client data, what exists now, and what does not.
Every number and name on this page is read live from the game data.
Written 7 November 2026. All times are UTC. Two claims end soon: the Mark of the Beta event on 18 November and the Founder's Package mailbox on 30 November.
Orbis, El Nath, Ludibrium and 3rd job are not in the game. Classic World today is Maple Island and Victoria Island, 1st and 2nd job, and a level cap of 100. If a guide sends you somewhere else, it was written for another version.
What to do first
- Bought a Founder's Package? Open your mailbox and claim it now. Unclaimed items expire on 30 November.
- Level 25 or above? Run the Mark of the Beta route below. The hat is free and the chain closes on 18 November.
- Level 10 or above? Start The Journey Begins today. Start by 8 November to reach Day 10 with a day to spare. 9 November is the last start that still reaches Day 10, and it needs a claim on the 18th, maintenance day.
- Treat 17 November as your real deadline for everything. See the warning under the table.
Deadlines
| When (UTC) | What ends | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| 11 Nov, 07:59 | Mystery Styles sale: Mystery Hair and Mystery Face coupons | Buy only if you want a random style |
| 18 Nov, start of maintenance | Mystery Fashion Crate rotation, 10-Day Equip Covers, Fall Store Permit | Nexon has not posted the start time |
| 18 Nov, 23:59 | The Journey Begins check-ins | Hand in 30 a day to |
| 18 Nov, 23:59 | Day 1 pet expires and cannot be revived | Treat it as a free trial of a pet |
| 18 Nov, 23:59 | The Marks We Leave Behind | Finish |
| 18 Nov, 23:59 | Halloween Candies and the Orange Slimes in four towns | Accept from , hand in 100 , then finish her hidden mission for the sword |
| 18 Nov, 23:59 | To Classic Beginners rings, closed test players only | Check your mailbox |
| 30 Nov, 23:59 | Founder's Package mailbox claim | Claim, then open within 30 days |
| 19 Dec, 00:00-02:00 | Up and Up GM event | Talk to in Lith Harbor once the GM opens the door |
| 13 Jan 2027, 07:59 | Season 1 Aurora Stamps expire, Aurora Stamp Shop closes | Spend your stamps first |
The events say 23:59, but Nexon's Cash Shop notice ends the crates at the "Start of Maintenance" on Wednesday 18 November, so a maintenance that day is implied. No time is posted. The 29 October maintenance ran 12:00 to 16:00 and launch day ran 13:00 to 18:00. If this one looks similar, servers will be down for hours on the last day. Plan to finish on 17 November.
Founder's Package. You must leave Maple Island before you can open the items. Each purchase can be claimed once per account on each platform, so once on the Nexon website and once on Steam. After claiming you have 30 days to open the package.
The Journey Begins. Level 10 and up. Accept the quest from , then collect 30 Maple Leaves from monsters of level 10 or above, once per day per account. Rewards follow your check-in count, not the calendar, so a missed day costs nothing but time. There are 14 rewards but only 12 calendar days from 7 to 18 November, so a start on 7 November tops out at Day 12, and a start on 8 November at Day 11. Start by 8 November to reach Day 10 with a day to spare. 9 November is the last start that still reaches Day 10, and it needs a claim on the 18th, maintenance day. That assumes one claim per UTC day, since Nexon has not stated the reset time.
The rewards worth the walk are 70 in total on Days 1, 3 and 9, and 3 each on Days 2 and 10. Those charms last 7 days, so spend them on your riskiest grind. One report so far says you cannot pick up a 31st leaf. If leaves stop going into your bag, hand in the 30 you have.
Halloween. Accept the quest from in Henesys or Kerning City first, then monsters of level 10 or above can drop the candies. After you return 100, she sets a hidden mission that pays a , a level 10 one-handed sword with 27 W.ATK, +3 Speed and no stat requirement. How long that mission takes is unknown, so do not leave it to the last day. Orange Slimes also drop , and . Those three are tradable and permanent, so keep them. The Blue one restores 450 MP.
GM events. You cannot enter if you hold a or joined a GM event in the past 24 hours. Use your scroll before 19 December: take it to , then take the box to .
Mark of the Beta
Should you bother? Yes if you can reach level 25 by 17 November. It costs a tour of the island and two fights you must plan for: stop 2, where you may need to kill something, and the Ant Tunnel walk to stop 6. It will not change your character.
is a level 25 hat for any class with no stat requirement: +1 STR, DEX, INT and LUK, 24 W.DEF, 7 slots. The 7 slots are normal, not a bonus. All but one of the regular hats in the client have 7. Its W.DEF matches the other open hats at 25.
Compare it with what you can buy. Class hats at 25 cost 4,500 mesos, and the better ones give +2 to one stat, such as . Warrior hats add more W.DEF. So the Mark is a free hat for a thief or bowman who wants a point in each of two stats, and a useful filler for a mage, who has no mage-only hat at 25. It has no M.DEF.
The client lists no expiry on the hat, while every journal page expires at 00:00 on 19 November. It also flags the hat as account-shareable, which suggests you can move it between your characters. We have not tested that. No EXP or mesos are listed on any step.
The route
Each quest needs the one before it, so the order is fixed. Clues come from the quest log. Positions come from the map files, where each stop has a hidden trigger named after its quest. Nobody on our side has walked this yet. If a stop differs, please report it.
| Step | Quest | Clue | Go to | Where on the map |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Start | none | in | He hands you the | |
| 1 | "Where the sea meets a shore guarded by little snouts." | Low down, to the right of where you land, almost straight below the exit portal | ||
| 2 | "I spent one night beneath a stranger's roof." | Low down, a little right of the way in | ||
| 3 | "The forest remembers what the traveler forgets." | Far below the entrance, on the right | ||
| 4 | "Where shadows gather, leave no coin unturned." | in | Bring 10 mesos | |
| 5 | "Beyond the familiar path, the wild ones roam." | Near the height of the way in, well to the left | ||
| 6 | "Beneath the earth, even the smallest footsteps may lead the way." | Right of centre, upper half |
Stop 1. Go west from Henesys to , then through a hidden portal.
Stop 2 is the one to plan. From Henesys it is four hidden portals in a row, ending at the house:
| Map | Where the hidden portal is |
|---|---|
| Far left, high up. Another hidden portal just below it takes you up to it | |
| About the height of where you land, far to the left | |
| Far right, at the end of the map | |
| High up, to the right of where you land |
and hold 42 between them. Walk past them, do not stop to kill them. They are level 28 with 136 W.ATK.
In the house, the quest log says the monsters held the page, though our data shows no kill objective, so go ready to fight:
- Physical classes: has 500 W.DEF, so hit instead, which has 0. There are only two of those on the map.
- Mages: the reverse. Fairies have 500 M.DEF and Iron Hogs 100.
- lives here. She is level 40 with 532 W.ATK and 585 M.ATK. At 25, do not fight her. If she is up, stay well away from her or change channel.
Stop 3. Marr's Forest opens off Ellinia and lists no monsters. It holds six hidden portals that hop between its ledges.
Stop 5. The way in is a hidden portal on . That is 5 maps from Ellinia and 7 from Perion.
Stop 6. From , walk , , , , , , then and . The log says the trail ends past a hidden portal, and the map file has three. Two sit far below the trigger, further right, and link only to each other. We do not know whether either helps you reach it.
- and fill this map, so a level 25 will fight on the way.
- The store here sells food, stars, arrows and , but no Red or Blue Potions and no Return Scroll. Bring a and your potions.
The third hidden portal sits just up and left of the trigger. It leads to , where spawns at level 55. Do not press Up there. If you land in that map, press Up at once: you arrive on the exit portal.
Small things. Keep six Use slots free: pages stay in your bag after you read them and do not stack. The log text says level 10, but the quest and Nexon both say 25. Go by 25. Use the route tool for the walk between stops. To find a hidden portal, open that map's page: numbered portals on its minimap show where each one leads, and the legend under it lists every destination.

What does not exist
- Orbis, El Nath, Ludibrium, and anything else in Ossyria. No map in the client. and exist, but no destination is open.
- 3rd job. The client holds 1st and 2nd job skills only. Advice about Chief Bandit or any 3rd-job skill does not apply yet.
- Guilds. Not in the game, and no written Classic World notice we read mentions them. One report so far says players use Discord and friends lists for now.
- A second party quest. Kerning is the only one today.
Modern MapleStory advice does not apply either. Classic World has its own balance, and older damage figures and skill orders are not safe to reuse.
Expected next
Words in quotes are Nexon's, in writing. Every date below is reported from Nexon's MapleStory Fest panel and is not in any written notice we read.

Dated events from the game files, with their start and end days, are on the event calendar. What changed in each patch, in our data and on this site is on the changelog.
Coming soon, and the badges
Everything in the game files that is not out yet is listed on Coming soon, with the expected date where the files carry one. We do not hide any of it. Instead, its page carries a badge:
| Badge | What it means |
|---|---|
| Not released yet | In the game files but not out yet. The date shown is when the files expect it, not a promise |
| Event | A dated event. The badge says when it starts or ends |
| Test data | Test content in the game files, not in the game |
| Disabled in the game files | The files switch it off |
| Not placed in any map yet | A monster or NPC with full data but no spawn point |
A dated Not released yet badge drops off by itself once the date passes. If you meet something in game that still carries a badge, tell us.
