Warrior leveling 1 to 70
What actually moves a warrior from map to map: Accuracy, kill speed and crowding. AP plan, weapon ladder, the level 30 gap and a training route to 70.
Every number and name on this page is read live from the game data.
Move for a reason. Three things unlock the next map: enough Accuracy to hit it, a kill that takes two hits or fewer, or the current map being full. By our estimate, "go here at 34" is really "go here at about 82 Accuracy".
The picks below are safe-kill picks. They are not proven fastest, because no warrior has a measured EXP-per-hour number yet.
Stats
- STR is damage. Everything goes there except what your next weapon needs.
- DEX for requirements only. A two-handed weapon needs DEX equal to its level. A one-handed weapon needs about level minus 5.
- INT and LUK stay at 4.
| Level | STR | DEX | How to get there |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30 | 135 | 27 | Mostly STR, about 1 DEX for every 4 STR after 10. Lean more on DEX at 20 to 25 if you want a level 25 two-hander |
| 36 | 153 | 39 | 3 STR and 2 DEX per level at 31 to 36 |
| 50 | 209 | 53 | 4 STR and 1 DEX per level from 37 |
| 57 | 237 | 60 | Same split, then all STR |
| 70 | 302 | 60 | All STR |
| 100 | 452 | 60 | All STR |
Base DEX of 60 does not cover the 70 DEX a level 70 two-hander asks for. If gear DEX counts toward requirements, your hat and boots cover it. If it does not, you will need 10 more base DEX by then. This is not confirmed yet, so decide when you are holding such a weapon.
Accuracy decides your route
Estimated hit rate: your accuracy, cut by the level gap to any mob above you, rolls against the mob's avoid. This is a community estimate that nobody has tested in Classic World.
At equal level, 100% takes about 3.3 times the mob's avoid. Each level the mob is above you adds about 4% to that. Mobs at or below your level add nothing. Check your own numbers in the accuracy tool.

Level 30 set: , , , . A bought hat and quest boots give about 73 instead.
Accuracy set at 40: , , , . It moves you to about three levels early. If you already hit everything, take for the STR. comes later and adds 3 more: its 570 Cursed Dolls are listed only on Zombie Lupins, reference data, unconfirmed, so it cannot get you there. Stores list , so you can buy one. To make it at Tailoring 7 you need a , which no mob we can show drops, so that comes from players too. in its place costs you 1 Accuracy.
Level 50 set: , , , . in place of the gloves adds 3. Three upgrades are later or less certain than they look:
- adds 4 at 60. Its rubble is listed only on and , reference data, unconfirmed, so plan on the quest from about 60. The 30 for come from players, because is listed only around Florina Beach. Stores also list the finished cape, which you can wear from 50.
- An Icarus cape from adds 1 or 2. By quest that comes only after you are already on : its quest wants 50 , listed only on them, reference data, unconfirmed, and 20 , which has no source we can show, so do not stack for it until you know where it comes from. Stores list the Icarus capes too, which you can wear from 46.
- adds 1 or 2 if you can get one. Its quest wants a , which has no source we can show either, so the same goes for it. Stores list the helm too.
Level 70 pieces: , , , , all reported drops.
Subtract 8 if you stopped at 8. A sword user adds up to 20 from Sword Mastery. adds 7 for 15 minutes.
Weapons by level
Any weapon type works before 30, because no Mastery exists yet. Buy for attack at in Perion, and only think about your branch from 25.
| Level | Best buys (W.ATK) | DEX | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | (35), (32), (32), (30), (30) | 0 | 5,000 |
| 15 | (40), (37), (36), (32) | 15, 0, 0, 10 | 7,000, 7,000, crafted, 5,000 |
| 20 | (42), (42), (40), (38) | 20 | 13,500, crafted for the Pickaxe |
| 25 | (50), (50), (45), (45), (45) | 0, 0, 25, 25, 20 | Crafted, crafted, 16,500, 16,500, 13,500 |
Speed matters too. Polearms sit at attack speed stage 7 to 8 and blunts at 6 to 7, while 2H axes and swords are 5 to 6 and 1H swords 4 to 5. Lower is faster. A big slow polearm helps most when it turns two hits into one.
Armor matters less than the weapon. Spend on the weapon first, then see what you can actually get at each level.
Picks are computed from the item stats (weapons by attack, armour by your main stat then defence) and skip anything with no known source; see the gear optimizer for every slot and where each piece comes from.
The level 30 plan
No shop sells a useful warrior weapon above level 25. The one exception, at level 27, is weak. The level 30 weapons older guides name, such as and , have no source in our tables. So do not bank mesos for a level 30 weapon. Get this done by 30:
- at 15 and all 61 1st-job SP spent.
- A level 25 weapon for your branch, ready to carry you to 35.
| Branch | Hold this | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Fighter | , 16,500 at River | at 35, rank 7 |
| Page | , crafted, no DEX | if one drops (30 DEX), at 35 |
| Spearman | , crafted, no DEX | if one drops (30 DEX), at 35 |
- is a level 30 two-handed sword, crafted or dropped, with no DEX need. It only counts as a sword, so an axe Fighter loses Mastery on it.
- One if your citizenship lets you buy it. in sells them at 600 mesos. The grade needed is unconfirmed.
Training route
Spawn counts below are client data, and they are spawn points, not how many mobs a map holds at once. Nexon changed the spawn system on 30 Oct and gave no numbers, so how busy a map feels now is unverified.
1 to 30
Getting started covers the island and the Lith Harbor quests. Perion is 17 maps on foot from Lith Harbor, so be level 10 before you set out.
One report so far calls a crowded default and advises going past it. It has only 26 spawn points anyway.
30 to 50
This is the stretch where warriors stall, because mobs need more Accuracy and pay less for their HP. Do not walk into the day you advance.
Default: to 34, from about 82 Accuracy, if you fall short, from 44. All Accuracy figures here are our estimate.
50 to 70
EXP per HP trends down with level, with exceptions: Fire Boar .071, Lupin .056, Zombie Lupin .050, Wraith .052, Malady .056, Wild Kargo .046, Officer Skeleton .040, Tauromacis .036. Malady is the best of the 50s on paper. From the 40s on, the real question is what you can kill in one or two hits and whether you can get a spot, not which mob pays best on paper.
Do not use EXP-per-HP lists at . It has 500 W.DEF, so physical attackers should not plan on it.
When your map is taken
Move one map on, or go up a band if your Accuracy allows. Do not wait. Melee players report that ranged classes tag mobs first on crowded maps, so a map shared with a bowman costs you more than the spawn count suggests. Changing channel is the other answer, and we have no list of quiet maps yet.
Players also report that warriors who only basic-attack get mistaken for bots and see lie detector checks. Answer them when they come up.
Potions
Carry for HP and for MP. They tie for the cheapest per point and heal the most per use at that price. Move to or only when a single heal no longer keeps up.
- Do not confuse , which is MP, with , which is HP.
- The main town grocers sell all of these. The Sleepywood sauna has Orange but no Lemon.
- makes potions heal more: a Red Potion restores 124 HP at rank 3. Whether it counts on food such as Meat is not confirmed, so test one. If it does not, Reds are cheaper per HP for you.
- gives +10 Attack Power for 10 minutes at 500 mesos from and .
Check the market before you sell Etc drops to an NPC, and keep if you plan on the doll chain.
Common mistakes
- Saving mesos for a level 30 weapon that nobody sells.
- Walking into at 30.
- Stopping at 8.
- Expecting 2nd job to add a new main attack. It does not. Power Strike and Slash Blast stay your attacks to 70.
- Treating W.DEF buffs as protection from magic. , , , and all have magic attack stats.
Not confirmed yet
- Whether gear DEX counts toward weapon requirements.
- Which citizenship grade sells .
- Whether AP is assigned for you before level 10.
- Whether 1st job hands you a starter weapon. The client has a 26 W.ATK with no known source.
- How much EXP falls off when a mob is far below or above you.
- How many mobs each map holds since the 30 Oct spawn change.
- What the respawn values on the Camp maps mean.
- Any warrior's EXP per hour, kills per hour or potion cost on any map.
- Warrior build variants: dexless and moreDoes dexless work in Classic World? Unproven, and nobody has posted results. What it gains at 30, what it loses from 40, and the armor and scroll limits most guides skip.
- Spearman guideEstimated reach, Iron Will and the only warrior self-heal. Why polearm is the default but spear is no mistake, what v1.1.0 changed for Rush and absorb, and honest limits.
- Page guideThe hardest single-target Final Attack, the crafted blunt line and the option of a shield. 2H blunt or 1H and shield, and when Threaten is worth its 30 SP.
- Fighter guideRage, the only multi-target Final Attack and fast 2H weapons. SP order, axe or sword, a weapon plan that works without level 30 shops, and what is known to 70.
- Warrior build: 1st job, your branch and gear you can getHow to spend 61 SP before level 30, how to choose between Fighter, Page and Spearman, and what gear you can actually obtain at each level, quests included.
- Mage build variants: how much LUK?The one stat decision every mage faces. Three LUK plans compared on gear that really exists, what lukless actually costs, and why you can always add LUK but not remove it.
