Estimates. “Useful stat” is the gear optimizer's score: weapons by attack and your main stat, armour by your main stat, then defence, accuracy, avoid, HP, MP, speed and jump. Fair value is the NPC shop price or the 30-day player price, whichever is lower. Player prices come from store sales seen on launch week (a store slot seen to sell out, scrolled copies left out) and prices players report here; a mix of the two is marked as an estimate, and a price that comes from a summary of recent sales says which sales it covers. A shop may sell only to citizens of its town. Items with no shop price need at least 3 sales to be priced. Items with neither are not counted. Copies vary by roll, so one copy can be worth more or less than this. Gear optimizer ranks by stats alone. A shield cannot be worn with a two-handed weapon.
