Estimates. “Make it” is the expected cost of one finished copy: clean copies and scrolls at the prices above, using the cheapest scroll at each step and starting again on a new copy when one breaks or runs out of slots. A failed copy counts as worth nothing, so selling it would bring the cost down. “Player-sold scrolls only” leaves shop scrolls out, for when you cannot use that shop. We do not collect sales of scrolled copies yet, so only the make-it cost is shown.
